Technology at schools

Hello, we are Silva and Patricia. We are going to tell and explain you Technology at schools.

-In our school we use lots of technology.

There are:

-Whiteboards:

We use them for : 
Put an image of the book, 

To study, read,
Look at Internet, 
Watch videos...


-Telephones:
We use them to contact and talk with each other.
Only for our school, it's something very cool

-Computers:
We use them to look to the Internet, 
Watch videos, 
To put alarms,

-Speakers:
We use them when we have a party or a special moment.
Like Hallowen or  Christmas ...

-Televisions
I don' know how many televisions are, maybe 2 or 3. But when we use them (Not many times, in a special moment, maybe) we use them to see films, or a series.

-Now, we are going to explain you the advantages and disadvantages of using tablets at schools and using books at schools

Advantages :

• With the tablet the bag is lighter .
• With the books is easier to study
• The book is better for the eyes

Disadvantages :

• That the tablet is bad for your eyes .
• With the books the bag is heavier
• With the tablet is bad for concentrate 

I think that the tablets are the best option to study at school. However, the books are a good option too.

-We think that the best gadget we have at school is the computer, we use them all the time, so we are going to tell you some schools that can learn without computers.

Like the sons and daughters of the employees of Silicon Valley they learn without using computers, screens or electronic divides. They only use basic materials of school; paper, chalk, pencils...

Another example is the Acorn School, in London, they've prohibited the computers and the movile phones at school (Also at home).

They think that until the 12, they can't get a movile phone, because their childhood would be better.

 I think that the computer and the technology can be useful, but not all the time, for example:
I can look at internet from my computer to investigate about Cristopher Columbus, but I can't look at internet from my computer to see how is "book" in spanish. You can do it perfectly using the dictionary.
